Biography

My career in mental health began with my experience as a psychiatric technician at the Horsham Clinic, an inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Montgomery County. The experience inspired me to pursue graduate-level counseling studies at the University of Pennsylvania. As I developed the theoretical knowledge in the classroom to support my clinical experience, I joined T. W. Ponessa & Associates Counseling Services in Lancaster as an outpatient therapy intern. After graduation, I was invited to return to the organization as a professional clinician. My transition into private practice under the supervision of Dr. Suzann Steadman represented the next evolution of my professional and clinical experience, and I received my LPC designation in August of 2019. I now work alongside a number of other gifted clinicians at Chester Springs Clinical Associates.
